Solar Driven Power Plants
PURSOL works with project investors, developers, and various organizations in the stand-up of a major solar based power plant. At PURSOL we oversee all aspects of large scale power plant projects from design through operation.
Current Project Proposal
PURSOL is proposing a construction of 100 megawatts, solar photovoltaic-based, hydrogen fuel cell power plant to meet the power demands of a Montana based private entity and the surrounding communities. This plant will provide 100% solar energy with a 85 megawatt hydrogen fuel cell system. The plant is scheduled to be fully completed in 2010. A segment of the plant is scheduled to go on line in 2009. The combination of the solar and fuel cells will allow the power plant to operate 24/7. The power plant will incorporate one of PURSOL’s industry partners whose technology consists of an advanced photovoltaic solar panels with no emissions. Additionally, the fuel cell system will be the new technologically advanced Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) system with no emissions.
